Blankets to keep you warm during your treatments

Our volunteers are awesome. They make these beautiful blankets for our Hope Chest Renewal Room. Cancer patients receive them to use during chemo treatments. Thank you volunteers, we really appreciate you.

Prayer Shawls give comfort for the cancer journey.

The United Methodist Church of Farragut Iowa has generously donated the beautiful hand made prayer shawls. They are accompanied by a note from the church , and in part reads. " This shawl is woven with prayers to create a vessel for God's mysterious presence in our lives". What a lovely and thoughtful gift. Thank you ladies. We are truly blessed.

Hope Containers Give Daily Inspiration

Wings of Hope offers Hope Containers to people undergoing cancer treatment. They are a daily dose of hope and inspiration. Volunteers give out these containers at the Jennie Edmundson, and CHI Mercy Hospital. We also give them in the Hope Chest Renewal Room. What a great way to start the day with a an uplifting message.

The community has helped to "stock" the Hope Chest Renewal Room. Contributors include:

  • Altrusa Club - International and Council Bluffs chapter
