Walking the Spiritual Pathway Through Cancer

Cancer affects every dimension of self, yet the spiritual aspect is frequently the most overlooked — particularly by healthcare professionals. Dr. Monica Beck will briefly reflect on her personal spiritual journey through breast cancer and share insights into how comfortable (or uncomfortable) healthcare providers are in addressing spirituality with patients. She will also explore ways patients and their family care partners can advocate for spiritual support during cancer care.
