Bishop Donates Colts Funds to Wings of Hope

Callie Bishop is the mom of Greyson and Jaxson, a special education elementary school teacher and a breast cancer survivor. Earlier this month, she was recognized by the Council Bluffs Colts Youth Football Organization as its 2022 Breast Cancer Survivor Nominee Winner.

The honor came with a $500 cash prize, which Callie donated to Wings of Hope Cancer Support Center. “Wings of Hope helped me navigate life in my darkest days – days I had zero belief I was ever going to survive cancer or live long enough to see my babies make it to the age they are now,” she said.

The Colts raised the funds through sales and donations at its first-ever series of Pink Out Games in October. Greyson played for the Colts during the 2022 season.
