Wine-d Down with Wings Summer Fundraiser June 5

COUNCIL BLUFFS – Wings of Hope Cancer Support Center, presented by Google, will host its fourth annual Wine-d Down with Wings summer fundraiser Thursday, June 5, at Ditmars Orchard & Vineyard just outside Council Bluffs from 6:00 to 9:00pm. Tickets are $35 per person and can be purchased online at www.wingsofhope.org/wine-ddown.

Proceeds will benefit the organization’s Companion Coaching & Counseling Program. All Wings services are provided free of charge for people with cancer, their care partners and families in the metro and throughout southwest Iowa.

The evening will include:

• Wine | beverages from our host vineyard (2 drink tickets per person)

• Wood-fired pizza from 712 Eat + Drink's mobile pizza oven

• Cannoli cookie cups from Jan's Kitchen

• Live music from the Old Man Band

• The organization’s 1st ever grape-stomping contest

• Meadow & Charm's permanent jewelry booth (percentage of sales from the evening will be donated back to Wings)

• Raffles, games and more!

“This is my first ever Wine-d Down with Wings event, and I couldn’t be more excited to spend it at Ditmars—with great food, the Old Man Band, grape-smashing, and even better company,” said Wings of Hope Executive Director Abbey Loughman. “It’s such a fun and relaxed way to build community and raise vital support for the work we do every day. I’m truly looking forward to meeting the people who make this mission possible—and celebrating everything we’re growing together.”
