Women Helping Women Oct. 21

COUNCIL BLUFFS - Wings of Hope Cancer Support Center will host Women Helping Women 2024 Monday, Oct. 21, at St. Peter's Church Social Hall. This annual event, which celebrates all cancer survivors and includes a light soup and salad dinner, will begin at 6:30pm. All cancer survivors are cordially invited to attend. A free will offering will be accepted.

Dr. Tracy Bender, an occupational therapist and director of rehabilitation at Cancer and Urology Partners of Nebraska, will present "The Power of Gratitude." She is also the owner and founder of Resilience Survivorship LLC, which aims to provide education and connection of survivors of cancer to needed resources, fellow survivors and community partners involved in cancer care and overall wellness.
